[Bandwidth Limit Exceeded] Why aren't pictures displaying on my form?

Hi, pictures have previously been displaying on my form, but aren't now.  I haven't changed the form.

    Thanks.

The pictures are not showing because they have exceeded bandwidth limit.

When you view the images directly, you'll see this image:

Our management have implemented this to prevent bandwidth abuse. Please note that files upload to JotForm have the following limits:

Small files or those with file size of less than 10 MB can be viewed/downloaded 100 times.

Large files or those with file size of greater than 10 MB can be viewed/downloaded 10 times.

The limits are fixed and they do not reset. We, however, reset the limit for those files BUT please note that we can only do that once. I would advise taking advantage of 3rd party file sharing and storage services that we have integrations with, like Dropbox and Google Drive so that you can better host your images.

Let us know your thoughts on this, I would advise compiling the links that have reached the bandwidth limit, post it here and we will reset them. After that, download all of them and host them in another file sharing or storage service.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

How frustrating.  It's all the images on this form:  https://form.jotform.com/50875831103957   Please could you reset them as we are just about to launch our service!!

Can you explain more about the file sharing and storage services?  From looking at the link you sent, those services headlines are all about sending data from forms to them, not about hosting images.

Also can I use them to integrate images from here with the payment wizard that I am using?

    Thanks.

Thank you for the confirmation and apologies for the frustration, let me compile the links and will reset them quickly.

Regarding your concern, yes, the integrations will allow you to save the submission in your 3rd party service provider like Dropbox or Google Drive, in that case, if you have uploaded files, they can still be accessible in a different storage other than JotForm.

For the images displayed on the form, you can upload them to Dropbox or Google Drive (not directly using the integration).

Here's an example blog link on how to host images using Google Drive. However, I'm not sure if Google is planning to remove or fix this. You can also follow this link if you want to use Dropbox.

If you have an account to a direct image hosting or a server for the images, then that would be better.

I hope that helps. I'll update you as soon as I have reset the limits on your files.

I have reset the bandwidth limit of your images in that form. Please note that we can only do that once, if you reached the limit again, the files won't be accessible anymore.

Do let us know if you have more questions on this.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Thanks for resetting the images.

Ok, so you mean if I should use my hosting provider and upload the images there?

Isn't this quite a fundamental limitation of your service?  I am a bit disappointed.  Would it be possible to have a less restrictive policy for smaller images?  Or is it possible to upgrade my account to get this service?  I'm a bit baffled at the 100 views policy if the form can be submitted many more times than this in just 1 month?  Or have I misunderstood?

    Thanks.

If you need to show some images on your forms, you can still do this with JotForm. Please note that you will actually need to use an Image tool from Form Tools.

These form images are different from submission data uploads.

    Thank you.

    Thanks, I think I understand.

So would you recommend creating a separate form for images and then referencing them from the one with the payment tool?  Or putting them in the payment tool one and hiding them from display?
