Incomplete forms and profile picture uploads

Asked by botcode on December 01, 2015 at 01:17 AM

    Hi,

    1. Incomplete forms

When a user does not make it until the last page of the form what happens to the Unique ID? Does it generate?

And when the same user tries again does it record a duplicate entry ?

    2. Take photo widget

I need the user to upload his profile picture and then display that picture on the form.

The take photo widget does not work well on the web. Just gives a black screen.

Could you suggest any other method?

Even with the phone experience is not great but at least it works

    1. The unique ID is regenerated when the form is reload/refreshed, when the user does not submit the form the id will remain but after a submission is made a new id will be regenerated.

    2. To use the camera one must grant the widget permission to use the device hardware on the browser, you should receive a prompt similar to he one on the screenshot below when using Firefox. All other browsers will also show you the permissions prompt.

Alternatively you can use the image upload preview widget so that the user can provide an already existing image from their computer.
