    Hello!

    I know that this question has been asked before but you might have find a solution since then. So I used the purchase order tool and I would like to have  the total amount and the number of products ordered in a separate column on Excel when I download the spreadsheet.

    I know it is not possible straight away but is it possible to extract these number and put it in a hidden field. So when i download the spreadsheet there are in a separate column?

    many thanks for your help!

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to extract the product quantity from the payment question and place it in a hidden field. Using condition you are able to copy the total amount of the purchase and place in another field

    @maisonlondres

    Unless I'm misunderstanding the functionality required, it is indeed possible to have a hidden field capture whatever total is displayed in the purchase order field, so that it would appear in a separate column in the form records (and downloaded Excel spreadsheet of those records). If you clone this clone of your form you'll see that it has a hidden field labelled Total. The condition pictured below was added to make that field capture the purchase order total:

    (After clicking the Add Field button, the 0-9 was clicked to change it to a-z and make the button grey.)

    Here's how to clone a JotForm.

    If you need more help with this, we would be happy to provide it.

    Cheers

    Ah never mind. After re-reading your post, I see that I certainly did misunderstand what you meant (and my colleague's reply). While it's possible to have the total appear in a separate column, like my colleague has stated it's not possible to extract the product quantity and place it into hidden (or shown) field. That would require embedding the form's full source in a webpage and adding a custom script.

    Thanks
