How to calculates 28 days back from that date and auto populate a field?

    Also, they provide they provide the date of the closing balance. Can we insert a formula that calculates 28 days back from that date and auto populate a field? E.g. field 1: closing balance is 29th January 2016, the next field (field 2) should auto populate with the 1st January 2016.

    I created 2 calendars, 1 with the closing balance date and the other 1 blank (but set a condition to automatically subtract 29 days  based on the selected date from the closing balance date).
