I have a word document that contains a contract. How do I upload it? I don't want to build a form from scratch and your upload option doesn't work with my situation.

Unfortunately, you cannot upload a word document in our end and convert it to a JotForm form.
However, you can upload a spreadsheet file and convert it to a JotForm form by using this app: http://apps.jotform.com/app/spread2jot
You can also upload your PDF form into our end, but it cannot be edited using our form builder once you uploaded it. Here's the import tool that you can use for that: http://www.jotform.com/adobe-formscentral-alternative/. Uploading the PDF form will allow you to collect data or responses and directly receive it in your JotForm account.
If you can convert the word document to an HTML website. After converting it on an HTML file, upload it on a server. Get the link and follow this guide on how to import the form from a web page to our end: http://www.jotform.com/help/28-How-to-Clone-an-Embedded-Form-from-a-Webpage
You can check the following links to help you get started on our form builder, that will allow you to fully utilize our features:

You can always contact us here in the forum if you need help on your forms.
I hope that helps.
