Why would someone CC'd receive a different form?

    I have product-specific order forms.  I sent an HD Order Form by email to a customer and sent a copy of the email to an office staff member.  What came back from the customer were the answers to the FD Order Form.

    Why would the customer have received the FD Order Form when I know the HD Order was sent because I can see in my sent messages that it was the HD Order Form that was sent and my fellow office staff member also received the HD Order Form?  How is it possible that the FD Order Form went to the customer and the HD Order Form went to the office staff member, both of which were sent in the same single email?

    Hi,

     

    I checked your form - https://form.jotform.co/53309027917861 and I noticed that the Subject to the Notification Email is set to FD Order form.

    This might be the cause of the confusion. Please try to change the subject to avoid confusion.

    Hi Christian,

    OK, I've changed the subject but the problem seems to be more complex than that.  Notice that the lines should be numbered in the Form Fields of the HD Order Form (as shown on your brief video) but they are not numbered in the FD Order Form.  That FD form looks like the first one I had created but I have made changes to all 4 Order Forms.  The original FD order form is still the one I'm getting back from customers even though I have sent an HD and an EZ Order Form.  It's always the same original FD order form answers that are coming back from everybody.  I still don't understand what I need to do to fix the problem.

    I see what you mean. I did a test submission in your form and based on our logs the HD form notification was sent but with body message the same with FD form.

    May I know that when you created the HD Online Order Form, did you clone it from FD Online Order Form? If yes, then this is the reason why the Notification Email is the same with FD Online Order Form. If you clone a form, the email setup of the form is also copied from the original form. If you have modified the fields of the cloned form, this does not mean that the Notification email will be updated. You will need to modify the Notification email also. Please modify also the body/message of your HD Online Order Form as needed. You can add the value of the field in the message by selecting a field in the Form Field list found at the left side part of the popup.
