Getitng XML access denied message when downloading file uploadsAsked by TPSLC on December 07, 2015 at 05:15 AM
I have added a Jotform form to my website which allows people to add attachments.
This all seems to work fine and I receive the email with the answers in such as their name, email etc and the attachments seem to have attached to the email however when I try and open them, I am getting an 'Access Denied' error which says 'This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.'
Please help! I need this form to work with attachments for a client.
JotForm style xml name
I checked your forms and none of them has an "Upload" field. So, there is no upload on your submissions. Please, share the mentioned form's URL as a answer to this thread, so we can able to investigate it.
I'm waiting for your reply.
This is the URL. The form is on the right hand side underneath 'refer your patient' and you click 'go to form'.
The form isnt on this particular account however if you need to access the Jotform account with the form on this is fine please let me know and I will let you know which account it is. Thanks for your help.
I presume you are referring to this form: http://www.jotformeu.com/form/51752499731363.
I checked your submissions and was able to get the same error message when downloading the file uploads.
I have forwarded this to our developers to have it checked.
However, I noticed that you have two forms one the same page, the one you mentioned is embedded on this page http://hookdental.handpdesignpreview.co.uk/includes/referralform.php. But it seems like it uses an old embed code, could you try getting a fresh copy of your embed code under the "Publish" button, make sure it uses the HTTPS protocol. After making the change, try making a test submission with file uploads, see if the files will get through through to your JotForm account.
Did you have a change of username recently?
If in case there was no change of username or transfer of forms occurred with your form, it's highly probable that the submissions were lost at the period of its transfer. Usually, it happens at the time when there was an intermittent connection between the user and the server which results to premature completion.
My best recommendation for this is to contact the person who submitted the form and ask from him to resubmit the files to you again.
