How can i allow the customer to Choose if they want the product to Shipped?Asked by TCE2015 on December 07, 2015 at 11:21 AM
I am wanting to know how I can allow shipping to be an optional charge? Because right now it automatically charges for shipping and their is no option for the customer to select pick up instead so the shipping charge gets turned off at checkout. I have attached the link for the form I am using where it is showing the shipping.
Unfortunately, there is no option to make the shipping cost optional: https://www.jotform.com/help/304-How-to-add-shipping-cost-to-Payment-Forms
A way around this would be separating the products in a normal Check Box field, and adding another Radio button field where you could ask if the user wants shipping. You will need to assign a value to each option: https://www.jotform.com/help/301-How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value
Then, you can use a form calculation widget which will collect and calculate the total amount: https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form
And then you pass the total to the payment integration: https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field
