    When form is edited, conditional email Notification is not sent, even if all conditions are met, because of Signature field

    I have a form that requires 2 signatures before it is finally submitted. It does not seem to be working. Can you please check out my conditions? Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I have checked your form and I can see the Signature widget is working fine, I have checked the email log for the email accounts you are using in your form and I can see all emails are being sent, these are the email addresses I found in your form : 

    liberalartsduq@gmail.com

    willia75@duq.edu

    zolinas924@duq.edu

    If the issue is related to the email notifications, I would suggest you to check your Spam and Junk folders, also follow this guide in order to prevent bouncing issues :

    And please, contact to your email provider and ask to whitelist our IP Address, you will find that info on this link :

    Hi,

    They are still not working, which does not make sense, because I am getting other notifications from jotform with the same noresponse email.

    Any other insight would be helpful. Thanks!

    I have submitted your form and I have checked our email log, but I did not find records that email Notifications were sent.

    I would suggest you to separate email addresses inside of your condition. Like this.

    Hi,

    Although we all received the test email, when we tried to do our own test, we did not receive the confirmations. I set up the conditions as you listed above. Any other insight? Thanks!

    I have submitted your form one more time and this time when I checked our email log email Notifications were sent successfully to all three email addresses. 

    Did you receive email Notifications? You can also check the email logs for yourself on this link:

    Please check spam, trash and bulk folders and if you find them there please mark them as not spam in order to not go into the folder any more.

    If you did not receive email Notifications please let us know, so that we can take another look what can be the reason for this issue.

    Hi, this was working yesterday, I have not touched anything with the form, and now final notifications are NOT being sent!

    Sorry for inconvenience this may caused you. 

     

    I was able to replicate mentioned issue on my cloned form. If I understood logic of your form, once user submit the form two autoresponders will be sent. Then person A will edit their part of form and person B will edit their part of form. However final Notification will not be sent. 

    I am trying to figure out why is this happening. I will let you know when I find solution for this issue.

    On my cloned form I was able to resolve this issue by replacing Final Notification with Autoresponder email. I have used same conditional logic to send Final Autoresponder. Can you please try this solution and see if you will receive Final Autoresponder. Also inside of that Autoresponder settings you need to check option: Send on editing submission.

    I did some additional testing on your form and you do not have to replace Final Notification with Autoresponder email.

    I found out that Final Notification is not sent when edit link is used, if user that is editing form did not open other Form Collapse  section of the form even if all conditions are met. Final Notification email will be sent, if all conditions are met, when user that is editing form open both Form Collapse sections inside of the form before submitting the form.

    I have now opened one submission on your account and clicked on edit submission option. Then I opened both form collapse sections and then I submitted the form. Final Notification email was sent to all three email addresses.

    I did some additional testing and this is happening because of signature fields. I will escalate this issue to our developers and we will inform you via this thread once this issue is resolved. 

    For now you can use previous workaround I provided (opening both Form Collapse sections of your form) or you can change conditions of your email Notification and use some other fields instead of signature fields.
