    Problems submitting forms

    A good amount of my users are getting a "Please Wait" when they try to submit their forms.  I tell them to try it again in another brower when they contact me and it seems to work.  It is getting frustrating becaust I have had at least 15 people that I know of that have had this problem.  I am not sure if there are any others who thought they filled it out and really didn't.  How can this be fixed?

    Its quite difficult for us to troubleshoot what appears to a relatively isolated issue like this

    We are going to have to work through this to if we can find some kind of explanation as to what is happening.


    Which of your forms is this happening on? 

    Do the same users use other of your forms with no problems?

    Who are your users? Are they on an office network?

    Are you able to identify which browser the users who are reporting problems these problems are using?

    It is an application I have out on the web for my students to apply for a position.  I have 85 submissions.  I normally tell the student to change browsers and try again.  I am not sure though what browser they are using.

    This is the only form I have.

    I have reproduced the problem. It happens when email field isn't filled, the submit button freezes (please wait...) and you can't submit the form anymore. To fix it, kindly recreate the email field using textbox and set its validation to email. It is also helpful if you may change your default email value to something like this: youremail@email.stvincent.edu

    We still had the problems after I made the above change.  I realized that the problem was when the user used Google Chrome.

    Currently I noticed that if the email address has some invalid characters, or multiple emails inside are incomplete, it shows an unnoticed error.  Somehow the submit button changes its name to "Please wait..." and no longer clickable.

    example: test1@email, test2@email.com

    May we know the details being entered in the email address field just in case we are missing something else?

    I will also pass this on to the development team to let them take care of the bug that I found.
