    Print the form prior to submission

    Asked by stuball on January 31, 2012 at 11:52 AM

    Once you submit the form, the page goes away and you have a blank "thanks for submitting"

    I want the person to be able to print the form for their reference and have a copy.  So I inserted (with your help) a print button prior to the submit button. The problem is that to often I get a message saying the jot form can't print because the form has closed.  see the screen shot.

    How can I make sure the form remains available to print before submission?

    Thanks

    Thank you for contacting us.

    In this case you may place an Edit link on your Thank You Page, so that your customers will be able to get back to the form and print it.

    https://www.jotform.com/form.php?formID=20280720881&sid={id}&mode=edit

    Alternatively, you can add a link to downloadable PDF submission file on your Thank You Page.

    https://www.jotform.com/pdf-submission/{id}

    Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to help you.

    You should put some text (e.g. "https://www.jotform.com/pdf-submission/{id}"), select that text and then you will be able to use the Link button.

    They other ways is just to copy/paste the following link(s), using your browser:

    https://www.jotform.com/pdf-submission/{id}

    https://www.jotform.com/form.php?formID=20280720881&sid={id}&mode=edit

    Copying formatted text option is working in most of browsers.
