Output month numbers on Birthdate Picker

I have a date on my form (the one with dropdown menus for month, day, and year) and a custom thank you page where I get hold of the data via the $_POST variable.  The month part of the date is coming in as a month name, eg "January", but I need it as a month number.  I could convert it in my script of course but is there wa way to habve JotForm send me a month number?

I presume you were using a birthdate picker widget which obviously has text options in months and there's no option to change its value in the form builder as of its current version. I suggest using the Date/Time field instead. This outputs numbers on dates. I believe you're already using this tool as of checking your form. :)
