    The easiest way to add a horizontal separator line between form fields is to add a Text field (found under Form Tools) between them, and click on its Edit HTML button in order to edit it:

    In the editor that opens, just click on the Horizontal Line button - the second button of the toolbar. This will add a horizontal line in the field, but we will still have a paragraph with the default text "Double-click to edit this text..." in it. In order to remove this as well, I would recommend also clicking on the Source Code button - the very first button in the toolbar:

    This will open the source, and you can remove everything except the <hr /> part. Click on OK, and then click on Complete to close the Text field with the changes applied:

    You will end up with a simple horizontal line on your form:

    Hello.

    If you are having problems seeing the images in your email, I would highly recommend opening this thread directly in your web browser:

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/721541

    Your web browser should be able to correctly display the images.

    When it comes to the Edit HTML button missing for your Text field, there is also an alternative way that is just as effective about creating the horizontal line.

    1. When you add a Text field onto your form, you can click on the big HTML button at the top toolbar of our Form Builder - the button that has a letter T as its icon. Please refer to the image below as visual reference:

    How can I draw an horizontal line Image 1 Screenshot 40

    2. By clicking on the HTML button, a small popup will open. Please replace all content in that popup with just the following:

    <hr>

    3. Click on the green OK button to save the change to the Text field. Please refer to the image below for visual guidance:

    How can I draw an horizontal line Image 2 Screenshot 51

    This will result in the same horizontal line as the method described earlier. Your horizontal line should end up looking as in this image:

    How can I draw an horizontal line Image 3 Screenshot 62

    Please let us know if you are having any difficulties with this, and we will do our best to help.
