    Form Tabs Widget : repeated or duplicated

    Asked by goquote on December 10, 2015 at 12:11 AM

    I have page with Form Tabs Widget on it and it looks great, but why the Tabs repeated??

    Here is the page link https://form.jotform.me/43321713972453

    It seems like the widget was duplicated, but I see in form editor there is no more widget (Form Tabs Widget) its just one, or maybe its hiding somewhere but I can't find it.

    Anyone can guide me to fix this?

    I have inspected your form and there is only one Form Tabs widget on your form. Your form looks like this on my end.

    I have inspected your forms and I noticed that you have fields that collect credit card information and that is against JotForm Terms of use.

    http://www.jotform.me/form/43321713972453

    http://www.jotformpro.com/form/51743174773965

    Card number, expiration date, security codes and card holder name are considered critical information and cannot be collected on plain text fields. The only services allowed to collect such data are those that are DSS/PCI certified.

    You need to remove fields that are used for collecting credit card information from all of your forms.

    If you do not remove those field in next 24 hours we will need to do it.

    Termination. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service membership or suspend your access to all or part of the JotForm Service, without notice, if Company determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that you have violated these Terms. Further, you agree that Company shall not be liable to you or any third party for removing your Submissions or suspending or terminating your access to the JotForm Service. You may discontinue your participation in and access to the JotForm Service at any time.

    If you want to have payment fields inside of your form you have to use one of JotForm payment tools.

    Inside of this articles you can find out more about payment tools and how to set payment form:

    Hi Joanna,

    Thanks for your response.

    Yes, to get started with our business customers need to provide credit card details though we do not charge them as a "checkout" type procedure as they have not yet used our service.

    We store them with Commonwealth bank Secure Bpoint Valt to then charge customers on a bi monthly basis depending on the use of our service (it varies from customer to customer)

    Do you have a secure method (i.e. DSS/PCI certified) as we do not wish to process payments through paypal or through the above. We have our own processing procedures.

    There are 2 active forms that collect credit card information and I am deleting the credit card fields until the issue has been resolved.

    Suspending my whole account would also suspend forms that do not break the terms of use and are critical for the day to day running of my business.

    >> In relation to the initial question, we are having trouble getting rid of "roll-over" state showing the tab text above the form i.e. "Contact details" in your above screen shot. Any ideas

    I look forward to your response

    best regards

    Ben

    Form that you are using has CSS code that is used for styling of Form tabs widget. I have inspected that code and it is not possible to remove only first line. However you can change color of text to white, so text from first line will not be visible.

    Inside of your Form Builder select Setup & Embed tab, then click on Preferences, then select Form Styles tab and inside of Inject Custom CSS field at the bottom of existing code paste this code:

    #tabs-list li {

        color: #ffffff!important;

    }

    After you add this code your form will look like this.

    Here is my demo form: https://form.jotform.com/53435225906960?

    Feel free to clone it

    Regarding credit card fields - You cannot make forms to catch credit card sensitive information on plain text fields.

    You must be aware that this is illegal because it's considered a phishing activity, which violates our terms of use.

    Card number, expiration date, security codes and card holder name are considered critical information.  The only services allowed to collect  such data are those that are DSS/PCI certified.

    If you want to have payment fields inside of your must to integrate your form with any of our Payment integration.

    Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

    Thanks for your advise with the tabs.

    With the CC details, I'm still a little fuzzy on what to actually do. With the payment intergration do payments need to be taken on the spot? How do I repeat payments for different amounts on a bi-monthly basis once they have entered their details.

    As mentioned, They enter their CC details to be charged after an invoice has been send on a bi-monthly basis.

    Is there some kind of backend payment setup I can use to charge cards?

    Thanks Joanna
