Why limit us to 20 Submissions per pdf file - ANSWERED NOT RESOLVED

Why is there a limit of only 20 submissions per pdf file.

I will have over 1000 for a particular form and as a result I will have 50 pdf files to download, why not allow more or all in one?

It is a nuisance to keep acknowledging to send the next over and over.

I don't see how it helps your server time if I keep asking it to down 20 more over and over vs larger amounts fewer times. The server is still doing the same work.

I see this has been a question asked before and perhaps should be looked into by the gods.

Could you please elaborate a bit more? Are you referring to the email limit per hour on you account? Or are you having issue uploading/downloading PDF files on your form?

If you are referring to the email, free accounts can only send 20 notifications per hour. While paid accounts can send 100 notification per hour. This was placed so users will not be able to send spam emails with there accounts.

If you are having issues download files, JotForm also placed a limit to optimize our bandwidth for every user. This will prevent a user to use all the bandwidth to download files and prevent other users to submit simple forms.

If this is not what you are looking for, please let us know and we will do our best to answer your question. If you have a suggestion on how we can improve our services, we are also open to any suggestion.

Why is there a limit of only 20 submissions per pdf file,

    "For Paying Subscribers".

I'm referring to the option where you view submissions and can download as pdf. I understand what you mean by optimizing your band width but is it really optimized if I do the same thing 50 or 100 times in a row? I really not sure that is true. Downloading as csv or excel is not nearly the same so is not an option.

As paying subscribers we should be able to do more.

    Hi,

Servers have a maximum execution time during downloads. We have to put a limit in the number of submissions that can be downloaded in a pdf file because downloading thousands or hundreds of submissions at once may cause the server to exceed maximum execution time which then causes download to fail. To solve this, we only allow users to download 20 submissions per pdf file since downloading 20 submissions at a time will not cause the server to exceed the maximum execution time.

Do inform us if you need further assistance,                                                                       Regards,
