Using iOS camera to upload an image doesn't work?Asked by Jaco Koppelaar on December 17, 2015 at 01:26 AM
It would be great to use Jotform to upload pictures including meta data from your phone. Theoretical it should work
when I create a simple form with some description fiels and an upload button. Using the upload button gives me the option to take a picture or select from image library. But when I take a picture I get an error that my picture is to large (>1Mb).
I cannot change that setting so it would work if Jotform should shrink the image or allows me to upload the full sized image.
You should be able to change the allowed maximum file size upload by following this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/33-Changing-the-Upload-Size-Limit. Currently, your form is set to a max file size of "1024" which is 1MB.
We also have file upload widgets that you can use as an alternative, you can check them here: http://widgets.jotform.com/category/file_upload.
Let us know if that works.
Yes, I found the widget and it works perfectly!
Glad to hear that it worked. Should you need any assistance again, please do not hesitate to contact us here in the forum.
