Dynamic Dropdown : How to pass options from a Dynamic Dropdown to another ?

Asked on December 17, 2015 at 9:14 AM

I have a list of about 200 different options nested in the Dynamic Dropdown widget.

I used that widget with the same options about 125 times dependent on conditional logic.

I am starting a business and to add new options I would have to change the form 125 times.

Is there any sort of work around to simply pass the options from just one of these Dynamic Dropdown fields to the rest? or have the widget read a text file?

I am adequate in coding most of the major languages and have no issues in hosting the form myself or injecting some code.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us.

If I can understand your request, you want an option to copy and paste the widget instead of add it manually to your form and add all the changes, you can copy fields and just change there the options you want, refer to this guide in order to know how to do it : http://www.jotform.com/help/242-How-to-Manage-Multiple-Fields

Unfortunately, you can not add the options from a text file, you can only add it manually on the wizard.

    Hope this helps.

Feel free to contact us anytime if you have more questions, we will be glad to assist you.

    Regards.
