I did the above, and it is now being transmitted encrypted BUT the email notification isn't coming to me.

    This is the form: https://form.jotform.com/53265456203250

I checked your jotform http://www.jotform.ca/form/53265456203250 and I noted that it doesn't have a Notification E-mail setup on it.

You need to add a Notification Email first to the form to be able to receive email alert.

Please add the Notification. Let us know if issue remains even after doing this.

    Thanks.

Autoresponder won't work for encrypted forms because you hold the key and therefore, no way for form submitters to decrypt it.

Please check this guide for more information about the encryption feature: http://www.jotform.com/help/344-What-are-Encrypted-Forms-and-how-to-use-them-as-expert.

Please contact us again if we can help in any way.

    Hi,

I made a test and I have not received the email from Autoresponder, I can confirm there is no way to use this feature while using the encrypted form.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

It used to work on Friday, so now the feature is disabled? I noticed that third party email integration also doesn't work.

Is there a plan to fix this, or at least disable the "autoresponder" email function when using an encrypted form? I imagine i'm not going to be the only person with this issue moving forward.

    Thanks,
    Ola

This is how the encryption works from the very start. You can integrate it to other services like Aweber and create an autoresponder email, but nothing you can do if you were the submitter because the data is encrypted and you don't have the key. Again, the autoresponder will simply not work when the encryption is enabled. You may consider turning it off.

    Hey there,

The note about "encryption working like this from the start" is somewhat frustrating to hear because last week I was testing the encrypted form and the auto-reply was working on encrypted forms until I submitted this ticket.. http://www.jotform.com/answers/728582-Encrypted-form-One-form-field-sent-as-plain-text?k=06d76e19b28f68076fda2ac3a232912c

It's upsetting that at the last minute I have to look into another service when the hope was to use yours.

I'm sorry to hear that; but due to the nature of the encrypted data, no one without a key can access it like my colleagues has already mentioned.

However, if you have security concerns, JotForm has completely moved to secure SSL, so you don't need to worry about the secure connection anymore. You can find the detailed post about this feature from the link below:

If it is still blurry, please don't hesitate to contact us.

    Thanks.
