Finally, is there a way to make the drop down arrows visible on the PDF besides when they are clicked on?

I took a look at the following form https://form.jotform.com/53505612516147 Sydney.

I believe that this is the one that you would like to have the DropDown Arrows shown in your PDF.

The only way to do that would be to upload the images with the dropdowns on your form, which would then show the arrow of the dropdown.

This would however cause issues and will need to be changed each time you make some modification to the form, so I would not suggest this option.

I do believe that you are talking about the PDF form made of your online form. If you are meaning for the PDF of the submissions instead, the same applies, but it might require that you have slightly different CSS code for that that than the one for the PDF forms, but would also (if possible) require that you update the CSS each time you make a change on your form.

If you can tell us a bit more about what you would like to accomplish we might be able to assist with the same.

Yes, I'm asking about the "Create PDF Form" feature and not PDF of the submissions. When converting to PDF it changes the look and feel of the form. Label font changes, sub labels disappear, the drop downs no longer look like drop downs (unless you click on it in the PDF). Also it looks gray/fuzzy overall even though the font is black. If there isn't anything I can do about the look of the drop downs, that's fine, but I do need the sub labels visible as it is important for filling out the form.

Here are images of what my form looks like online and then the PDF version of it:

Unfortunately there are many limitations of the PDF that are not present on the online forms, which is why it is being shown like that.

Unfortunately with the dropdowns, the system would be creating them, so they would look different on each system, which is why the PDFs will usually have the plain textboxes shown on them instead.

This is the default setup of the PDF itself and could not be changed.

Unfortunately our form to PDF is also limited in many ways, about which you can read more here: Fillable PDF - Everything you need to know about JotForm fillable PDF creator

Unfortunately neither sublabels nor default values would show on your PDF.
