Can a Form's Title Be Captured and Displayed in a Text Field in the Same Way That Field Data Can?

I hope the Screen shot says it all.

Why does the {form_title} not appear in the text the same as {fullName1} does, it works Ok in Notifications & Responders.

I am using this so that I do not forget to change the name when i clone the form for another Event.

You will have the solution I am sure, if not the reason why it does not happen , I hope it can be done though !!

Unfortunately, that feature works only with form fields, not the form title. A possible alternative would be to use one form in multiple webpages and capture the title of each page using the Get Form Page URL widget. Each webpage would be for a separate event and you could use the tag of the widget to display the page URL in the same manner you're using the full name field tag.

That's the best workaround I can presently think of.

    Thanks

Sorry about the two screenshots and also I forgot to crop all the Junk off the bottom.

That is strange, why does it work in a Thank You page and a Notification

I have got a hidden text field in at the top just below the title called RepeatTitle with a heading "REPEAT THE TITLE HERE" and short of flashing lights I should manage to remember to copy and paste the title in...I hope. It then is picked up in the HTML further down.

A less involved way for my brain... what brain!!

Thanks for your help or should I say confirmation of my fear that it could not be done.

    Willy,

Your screenshots are fine. Unfortunately, while the form title tag works in notifications, auto-responses and thank you messages, it won't work in the Text fields. I'll ask my colleagues about any workarounds besides what I've already provided above and they'll reply here if they have any.

    Thanks

    Abajan

Thanks, but if they come up with something that is fine, I am fairly happy with what I have devised and I can live with it in the meantime, it is not as if I am cloning / constructing forms on a daily or weekly basis.

    So I am happy :-)

    Hi,

I have tried to get the Form's Title, but I was unable to do it.

The only way I can find to do that is using the Widget provided by my colleague above, however , it will only capture the Form's Title if you do not embed it in a website, if you embed it you the Widget will capture the Website's Title.
