    Hi,

I use Jotform to capture details of individuals who wish to make PPI claims. Several fields of the form are mandatory however I had an enquiry on Saturday 4th Feb at 12:08 that only contained the ip address and number of claims packs required. I believe there must have been a glitch with Jotform and I was wondering if you could investigate to make sure it doesn't happen again. If you are also able to retrieve the data I would be grateful.

    Kind regards

    Caspar,

This is not a glitch in our system. Mandatory/required fields use JavaScript to prevent the user from submitting the form when they are left empty. However, if scripting is disabled on the user's web browser, the validation will obviously not work. Therefore, an empty form can be submitted.

There is nothing we can do about it as it is beyond our control. It is the user's prerogative if he/she wants to disable running scripts.
