Email Notification Not Working

The email notification feature is not working on any of my forms. The feature is enabled, the address is entered properly, but the only way I can get the email to send is by clicking the 'Test Email' button in the email composition area.

Also, when I receive the test email, the fields are not filled out correctly. For example; it will state {fullname} instead of putting the actual name of the person filling out the registration.

I'd like to subscribe, but these registrations are for people paying a lot of money for safety courses and I can't have errors or issues with the submissions.

I'm also getting security certificate errors, when I try to load the page with a captcha or an embedded PDF.

The links to the forms are as follows:

I'd be happy, if you could just tell me what was wrong. I can fix the forms myself. Thanks for any help you can lend.

    Sincerely, Charles

The emails are not being sent to the spam folder either, I already checked that.

I have checked the email address you have set as the recipient of your notifications once your form is submitted and it is not on the bounce list.

Also, to my understanding, you only receive your notifications when you use the Test Email button, is that correct? Have you tried making an actual test submission on any of your forms? Load your form on your web browser, fill out the form fields and submit the form. Let us know if you will receive your notifications that way. How-to-properly-Change-and-Test-a-New-Email-Recipient-Address-

If you have already tried that and you're still not receiving any of your emails, please try to check if by following the instructions on this guide(How-to-setup-email-alerts-to-prevent-email-bouncing-related-issues) will help you solve the issue.

Here's another guide that might also help you: Whitelisting-JotMails-IP-Addresses

    Regarding your other concerns:

Also, when I receive the test email, the fields are not filled out correctly. For example; it will state {fullname} instead of putting the actual name of the person filling out the registration.

When you use the Test Mail button, technically the form is not filled and not submitted so it will not provide you any data but the exact text from the email notification Compose Email window.

I'm also getting security certificate errors, when I try to load the page with a captcha or an embedded PDF.

I have created a new thread for this concern since it is a different issue and we can assist you better if you have a separate thread for every concern you have to avoid confusion with the answers. Thank you. I think we figured out the security issue with the captcha and embedded PDF.

I have sent registration forms outside of the TEST area. I have embedded the form on a page on my website and submitted from there. I did not complete the payment through PayPal, which is where I am redirected upon submission. I hope this isn't the problem.

Also, I already white-listed all of the addresses listed in the page titled; how to set-up email alerts. I'm going to go back through that page to see, if I can find the issue.

    That's great to know.

As for the Paypal form, you won't receive an email if you won't complete the payment process. If you will just close the browser after being redirected to Paypal payment page, that will be logged as incomplete payment. You can see the form data in your form incomplete payment section. Here's how to access this page:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/135-How-to-View-Incomplete-Payments

If you would like to receive an email for incomplete submissions, please follow the steps from this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/273-How-to-setup-Incomplete-Payment-Notification-E-mail.

Note that if you are getting those successful payments in the incomplete payment section, then there's a problem in your form settings. You will have to check your IPN, please check this guide for more details: http://www.jotform.com/help/272-Paypal-Incomplete-Payments-FAQ.

I hope this helps. Let us know if the issue persists to your end.
