    The background of my form changes to white instead of transparent

    Asked by Ian  on January 01, 2016 at 06:55 PM

    Driving me nuts. I cloned a form to test some changes. The first one appears on my site with a transparent background. The clone does not.

    background settings should be the same, and I have tried variations with transparent settings.  Nothing works.  Any ideas?

    You have loaded the second (cloned) form to our form designer and the designer overrides the current form design. You can adjust it from there, under Color Scheme:

    Welvin,
    Thank you. Actually, I tried exactly that. No success. I can change background color, but oddly, cannot invoke transparency (like you have demonstrated). This is what makes it so perplexing. If I can do color successfully, then why not transparency? Any other ideas?

    You can override it with custom CSS codes. Please add the following:

    .supernova .form-all, .form-all {

        background-color: transparent !important;

    }

    Here's how to inject the codes: http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes. You will have to add it at the bottom if you will do it through the preferences window.
