Country phone code to be default/prefilled based on IPAsked by secureform on January 04, 2016 at 10:53 AMI have a service that caters to multiple countries and want people to leave their number. I see multiple country code widgets for this purpose which is great. However I would like the country phone code to be default/prefilled based on IP. So someone viewing in Germany would see +49 while a Dutch person would see +31- Is there a widget I can use to set the ‘default country code’ based on IP?if not?- Is there a widget I can add code too to set the ‘default country code’ based on IP? (I would have to have the source code correct?)
Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have widgets which can prerefill the country phone code based on user location/IP.
If you would like to use some custom coding solution based on a form source code, you may consider using a standard phone field (Country Code section enabled via field properties).
Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.
