Allow to change text "Edit Submission" under HTML Table and Grid Reports

I would like to display the text "Edit record" instead of "Edit Submission" in a html-grid report (see picture). The link behind the text, of allowing to edit a submission, shall remain. How can this be done?

I Thought about a similar workaround like discribed here:

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/355142-How-to-change-the-hyperlink-text-of-edit-link-from-Edit-Submission

with the difference, that i'd allready put the {edit_link} hidden into the form wich could be shown as a regular output within the report.

Can this work or will the (for this approach necessary) subission-id {id} make problems because it might not be generated until the the form was sent?

    Thx for your help

    Alex

Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit the text shown under the "Edit Link" column for the HTML Table and Grid reports.

I tried to use the {edit_link} tag within the form itself in a regular text box. However, it does not work. The edit link will only be generated once the form has been submitted. But you can try testing it in your end, I might have missed something.

I have forwarded this to our developers as a feature request, I believe it's a good addition to let you change the text display and the column title for the edit links. Unfortunately, I'm unable to guarantee that this will be implemented anytime soon. But rest assure that our developers will be aware of this request, and we will update you as soon as we hear any news.
