Is it possible to pass login info from another application to JOT Forms?

Asked by Daniel  on January 05, 2016 at 06:48 PM

Hi everyone! Hope anyone can help me:

We are using JOT Forms embedded in our customized application (after acquiring proper licenses, obviously). The intention is that the customers log into our app with their already existing user/password in order to manage forms and create new ones.

But, when they try to create a new one, the initial login screen to access JOT Forms is showing .. I was wondering if its possible to surpass this login form by sending the corresponding existing information of the customer to the JOT Form login, in order to avoid showing TWO login screens.

I know this is more like a technical question, but I haven't found anything related in the forum or outside of it, so any tip or clue would be deeply appreciated.

    Thanks and Regards!

I'm afraid that I could not discern from your message what you meant by acquiring proper licenses.

Are you talking about logging your users in on a self-hosted JotForm Application that you have purchased, or are you asking about automatically logging into our online version of JotForm (www.jotform.com)?

In the second case of logging them into our website automatically, are you using our API to manage and create forms in the JotForm account, or were you intending to embed our website as an iFrame into your own application?

If you are using our API to perform actions on JotForm, you should be able to use our API to authenticate your actions performed by your app:

We'll await your response with a little more information, and we will be happy to look for possible ways to help. Thank you.
