I don't think webhooks is working, how can I tell?Asked by trakwebster on January 06, 2016 at 03:21 PM
My script was initially working, and now it is not.
It's as if my script is never accessed. It performs none of its actions.
I suspect that webhooks integration is not reaching my script.
How can I tell?
I used your webhooks email script, and called it with webhooks from my jotform form.
No email was produced. That could be because -
a) webhooks never called the email form
b) my server never sent the email
SMTP servers on my hostgator account have always worked in the past.
Could you please supply me with a snippet of php code that would capture the post variables, and print them to a file. This would eliminate the SMTP variable. I could tell whether or not webhooks is actually calling the script from my jotform.
I have done some php programming in the past but I am unskilled at it, and it's been a long time.
Can you help me with this?
You can test if the fields are being sent by sending the POST data from JotForm, to do it just follow this guide : http://support.jotform.com/help/213-Send-POST-Data-From-JotForm-Using-PHP-in-Custom-Thank-You-Page
You will be able to see if the answers are being sent through your form and test your script.
Do let us know if it works, if not, we will be glad to assist you.
Thank you very much!
You're welcome, Cheers !
