Post data from one form to another

    Hello,

I would like to have 2 separate forms, with the first one posting two variables to the 2nd one which would then capture those in hidden fields.

Both forms would be JotForms, but they are host on purely static HTML pages, no php etc.

Is there an easy way to pass data between two separate JotForms?

The other alternative is to have one multi-page form, but when the user navigates to the 2nd page, I would like the 1st page form to submit its data to InfusionSoft, so I can create an abandoned form campaign. If the user then completes the 2nd page of the form, they are tagged differently in InfusionSoft and put into a different campaign.

    Hope that makes sense!

If you want to post data from one form to another Jotform form, it is easier than prepopulating fields to your JotForm via URL parameters with Jotform.

I suggest you to check the guide below:

The other alternative is to have one multi-page form, but when the user navigates to the 2nd page,

    I hope it helps.

Hi, thanks for your response. With your 2nd answer, is it possible to have the first page still submit to InfusionSoft using the integration, apply a tag, and then when the whole form is submitted, submit again to InfusionSoft, but using a different tag?

    Thanks!

Yes, you can actually integrate both forms into InfusionSoft if that's what you mean. Each form has its unique tag so when they are both submitted to InfusionSoft, it will create two different sets of data.

Please let us know if you have more questions. Thanks!

Hi, just to clarify, you are saying that with a multi-page form (using page breaks etc) you can have it do that?

Or are you referring to example 1, where there are two separate forms?

Sorry, I am referring to two separate forms not using pagebreak.

If you are referring to using pagebreak (one multi-page form), unfortunately, that can't be achieved. This is simply because when you submit the first page with a submit button in it, it will submit the entire form. So, this can only be achieved using two separate forms.

    Hope this information helps!
