Perhaps you can help. This is what I want to achieve:
When I receive an order from my Big Commerce ecommerce store I want to send the customer a link to a Jot form that they need to fill out. I want to ensure that the customer's completed form submission is somehow associated with their original order (order number or customer email, for example). Ideally the form would automatically be sent out for the customer to fill in as soon as they've placed their order on my Big Commerce store.
There are a number of my products that require the customer filling in a different form, so if a customer orders two different products I'd want to automatically send two different forms.
This way, when each completed form comes back to me I can easily associate it with the customer's original order in Big Commerce. My preference is to have the customer complete the form AFTER they place their order on BigCommerce so that there is less for them to do upfront to place their order.
I could just ask the customer to add their order number to the form, but they might make a mistake and I'd like the service to be a bit slicker.
Any suggestions please?

Sorry - I mentioned Basecamp in my original title. The next step in the process would then be to create a Basecamp project off the back of the completed order form. Again, if anyone has an idea around how to automate that step, that'd be great.

If I understand you correctly, you are sending an email to your users that complete the Big COMMERCE order. You would like these forms to contain the order ID.
What you can do is, when you send the link to the users, add the order ID in the URL (Prepopulating fields to your JotForm via URL parameters)
In this forms have a hidden field or a readonly field that is per-populated with this value.
In regards to your last post, could you please explain what is a BASECAMP? Are you referring to the Basecamp 3?

Yes, Basecamp 3. I effectively want to manage the project within Basecamp, although I've just discovered that contractors will have visibility over clients - so I might need to reevaluate my options.

I tried to find an integration directly with Basecamp and unfortunately, there is not any.
However, you may consider using Zapier to integrate your JotForm with Basecamp : https://zapier.com/zapbook/basecamp/jotform/
This is the link to Basecamp 3, however the feature is not released yet : https://zapier.com/zapbook/basecamp3/jotform/
Here is the link to use our Zapier integration : http://apps.jotform.com/app/zapier_integration
Hope this helps.
