Conditions: Unable to update a cell into the matrix field

Asked by Erik Decker  on January 11, 2016 at 10:55 AM

    Good morning,

I am creating a form for our nurse leaders that helps them to calculate percentage of compliance with a specific practice by their units and overall hospital. I wast not able to find a way to modify the spreadsheet widget so I used the Matrix widget under survey tools and was able to get the table set up the way that I want it. The challenge I am having now is getting the matrix to calculate the percentages. I have included a link to my form below.

Is this the best widget to use? If not, are there alternatives that will accomplish what I need?

    Thank you for your help!

If I understand you correctly, you would like to have a column or row with the total of the results. I have searched our records and found a similar thread to your request:

I have tested this in the new wizards and it seems that this feature has been remove. How ever you are still able to use the old condition wizard add &old in the URL

    https://www.jotform.com//?formID=xxxxx&old

This will enable the old condition wizard.

I have created a ticket, so our team will add this feature in the new condition wizard.

Glad we were able to help. Like I mentioned, I have created a ticket so this feature can be added in the new wizard.

I forgot to mention, if you require to use the new wizard. You just need to add &TEST in the URL instead of &OLD.

Once we have any information on this request, we will be informing you.
