HI I would like to reduce the size of the background of the whole form relevant to the form frame. See below - I would like to reduce the overall size of the darker blue and make the form which is the lighter blue take up more of the space on the web page.

That depends on where you have embedded your form and the width of your form. Can you please share the webpage URL where you have embedded your form and we will take a look.
You can inject the following custom css code in your form to reduce the left margin:
The following guide should help you how to inject custom css code in your form: http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes
We will wait for your response.

Thanks the website is not live yet and Wix does not allow you to share a page with someone to review without giving them editing rights.... Once the page is live I might ask for help again.

Thanks my website is live now - is there some way I can reduce the size of the overall border (as per my request on 11 Jan)? the form is located here http://www.foreverkombis.com/#!contact-us-for-a-quote/c11m6
Also can I change the phone format to not require an area code?
Finally is there a way that I can automate an email to everyone that submits a form?

I am not quite sure if I understand your question correctly. Do you want your form to appear like this? The same background used on your page?
If yes, inject this CSS codes to your form.
Thi should make the form background transparent without no border and shadows.
However, if you want it like this:
Use this CSS codes:
border: 1px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 3px 9px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
-moz-box-shadow: 0 3px 9px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
box-shadow: 0 3px 9px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes (paste the code on the bottom part)
If I have misunderstood your question, let us know.
PS. I enjoyed the music on your site! :)
