    Hello Mark,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to collect credit card information using Jotform plain text fields. However, if you want to receive payments using Jotform you'll need to integrate one of the payment tools available in the builder.

These payment tools comply with PCI/DSS security standards and the payments are processed securely. If you want to authorize the credit card information while placing the order and charge your customer from the payment tool dashboard, you may enable the feature Authorization only from the payment tool properties. This feature is available with PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net, etc.

If the credit card information is collected on plain text fields, the forms are considered as phishing forms and associated accounts are automatically suspended. Please refer to our terms of usage for more information on phishing.

    Hope this information helps!
