Is there a way within the payment wizard to use conditional logic?

Asked by imhereandimhungry on January 12, 2016 at 11:32 PM

I would like to allow customers to order multiples of the same item, but select different flavours (set up as an option within the wizard).  For example, if they select "1" as the quantity, I would like them to only be able to select 1 flavor, but if they select "2" as the quantity, I would like them to be able to select 2 flavours.  Is there a way to allow for this?  I know I can add additional options, but I don't want 2 flavor options to be visible if they only select "1" as the quantity (see below for this example).

    Hello imhereandimhungry,

If I understand your question correctly, you want to display multiple flavour options in payment tool based on the quantity selection of users. Is that correct?

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to achieve your requirement within the payment tool. To achieve your requirement, you will have to add regular fields to display your product, quantity and flavours and show / hide them based on the selection of quantity field. You can use "Form Calculation" widget to calculate the price and pass it on to your payment question. The following guide should help you how to pass calculation to payment tool:  http://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field

Please take a look at the following demo form and see if this approach is acceptable to you:  https://form.jotform.com/60099145044958

Feel free to clone this form for a closer look. The following guide should help you in form cloning:  http://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

    Hope this helps.
