When I 1st created my form in order to collect payments, I would get an email confirmation sent to me immediately. All of a sudden they are no longer automatically being sent to me. Since when did I have to confirm submissions in order to get a confirmation email?
Also, once my client completed the form, I received a confirmation from PayPal which tells me that my IPN is linked, as you suggested. Is there a way around this extra unnecessary step in order for my payment to be completed and processed to receive my email confirmation?Lastly, If I see multiple confirmation submissions for the same person and same transaction, will this charge their card multiple times?Page URL:

As far as I understand from your situation, after setting a IPN for JotForm, you have started to get that confirmation emails to approve the transaction. It is a natural behavior of setting an IPN; but if you don't want this feature and want to receive notification emails directly, you can disable it. However, without an IPN, you can encounter some synchronization problems between Paypal and JotForm like seeing completed transaction as incomplete on "Submissions". They are not fatal errors; but you need to make crosscheck between Paypal and JotForm.
Alternatively, you can try to disable the IPN verification, go to Downloads > Settings > Payment Gateways on Paypal account and check the box for "Disable PayPal IPN Verification".
