    Exceptionally slow loading speed

Asked by Stefan Botha  on January 13, 2016 at 10:18 AM

We have a few Jotform accounts with you under the name of Rainmaker Marketing in South Africa. The one form is linked to www.refineryliving.co.za and the loading speed of the form is far too slow. Please can you help with this. This is not a hosting issue and we are concerned about the speed of us accessing the form within the site. Has our form possibly been placed on a server that is overloaded? Please can you help us resolve this as it is liked to a very large property development and this is having an impact on our relationship with the client. In some cases it loads fine but we have had a number of complaints. There are times where it has taken me 30 seconds to load the form whilst the rest of the site loads very quickly. Regards Stefan Botha

We were having some issues with one of our load balancers earlier but the issue should now be resolved.  I checked the form in your page and it does appear to be loading quite quickly.

If you are still having trouble with your form, let us know which form and we will be happy to have another look.

Hi David. We are still having issues with the speed in which the page is loading. The rest of the page loads perfectly and then there is a long wait for the jotform to load. Please can you re-look at this? Is there an issue with the server that our form is hosted on? Thanks

I checked the embedded form as well as the form itself and there still does not appear to be any slow loading.  The only area that is currently experiencing any issues server side is Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Other than that, there are no reported issues.

Hi David. Thanks for your response but it doesn't help as the entire site loads but the Jotform either doesn't or takes ages to load. We are forced to move away from using Jotform unless we can find a solution. You may say that you cant find an issue but I can assure you that there is an issue. Please revert. Thanks Stefan

It may just be your location in relation to our servers.  I had several people check your page and the form is loading instantly for everyone who checked.  Is there another network you can check the form from?  I understand it is loading slowly on your end, however, no one else seems to be able to reproduce the slowdown:

I'm seeing a total load time of less than 1.5 seconds.  Several other support members are seeing about the same.

same thing happening to my website: http://www.mydrafting.com.au/ba-checklist/ the submission is taking a week, we submittelast friday until now it's still saying "PLEASE WAIT". even using a 4-rows form i have been waiting for 4 hours now as am writing this. I believe jotform should refund subscriptions if their aim is to help  others, if greed then nothing much we can do.
