one database link to many forms

    Hi,

    is it possible to link many forms to one only database?

    I tryed but when i clone a form, the new form does not keep same database..

    No, it is not possible to have different forms dump submitted data to a single submission database.

    When you clone a form, the clone will be treated as a separate form complete with its own submission page.

    Would you care to share the reason why you'd want different forms to have their data on a single database?  We might be able to come up with workarounds or suggestions.

    The reason is:

    my client create one database in a first time with one first access form. this first form finishes with his paiement

    my client come back  after his paiement with an other form wich have other commercial way, to propose follow solution..

    Here's a workaround I suggest:

    Create an autoresponder email or a thank you message for the first form containing a link to the second form. The link will use URL parameters to prepopulate the same fields in the second form.

    What happens is that the second form's database will also contain the information sent to the first form - if both forms are completed by the same person.
