Duplicating Matrix Entries in another part of the form

Asked on January 15, 2016 at 03:58 PM

Is there a way to duplicate matrix entries from the matrix to another part of the form.

When customers enter quantities on the matrix as per page 2 of my form, I am trying to find a way to extract the data (quantities entered for products) and put into another matrix or fields on page 4 which simply show what products and quantites the customer is ordering.

What does complicate things is that for any field in the matrix (on page 2) that no quantity is entered I would like that product line hidden on page 4 as the customer only needs to know what products they are ordering.

I have tried the review before submit widget but its not what I am after, I have laid out my form using a matrix as it offers the most simplest way to enter quantities for 6 products (unless there is of course an easier way which I don't know about). I have also tried various conditions calculations again without success.

If you could point me in the right direction of how to achieve this would be most appreciative.

    Thanks David

I have attached two screen shots to try to illustrate what I am after.

Note: The Display Cases ordered can be another matrix, table, etc as long as it shows any product with a quantity greater than '0' which has been input from the matrix on page 2

Thanks in advance for your help. david

    Hello locomotivedisplaycases,

Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement by adding condition in your form or by using form calculation widget. Please check the screenshot below on how to pass the value of matrix field to another from field:
