Drop down box with multiple pricesAsked by beeswrap on January 19, 2016 at 09:56 AM
I am trying to create an item on a wholesale order form that has multiple price options. I have tried to edit an item and add options in a drop down box, but every time I enable special pricing, the special price overrides the regular price.
I need the item, called the MINI BAR, to be $6.00. But in the drop-down box I need an option for customers to select that changes the price from $6.00 to FREE (with initial order over $200). When I create a custom drop-down option (Name: FREE, Description: with initial order over $200; price: $0.00) and then I Preview the change and select on the item, the price changes from 6.00 to 0 every time. I no longer have a way of selecting the Mini Bar for 6.
Let me further research this issue. I'll get back to you once I find a solution. Thank you.
The special pricing will always override the regular price. Based on the example you described, it seems that a discount/coupon will work for you. Here's a gudie: How to Add Coupon Code in the Payment Form
Let us know if that will not work for you. Thank you.
