How can I get an uploaded/submitted pdf file to display when I preview the submission or generate a pdf of the submission?

Hi! We have a form that allows users to upload a file (jpgs, pdfs, and other file types are allowed).

When a user uploads a jpg file, that file is displayed automatically when we preview the submission... and it's also displayed automatically when we "get the pdf" of the submission. That's great, because we want to print it and keep a written record of it.

However, when  a user uploads a pdf file, a link to that file is displayed instead of the file itself when we preview the submission/get the pdf of the submission. To print the submission data, it's a two-step process: first the submission data that displays, and then we click the link to view the pdf and print that also.

Is there any way to get that uploaded pdf file to display inside the pdf of the submission (a.k.a. am I doing something wrong)?

Thank you so much (and hoping this question makes sense),

    Tamara

I fully understand your question, however, I would like to apologize because there is no way we can display the content of the pdf file on the PDF copy of the submission nor on the submission page itself.

Uploaded PDF file will always show as a link, unlike images.

    Thank you.
