    Border color not changing on hover or input on one of my forms - has same injected css as my other forms

    Asked by locomotivedisplaycases on January 21, 2016 at 12:31 PM

    Can anyone help?

    On my order form I cannot get the border color to change to black, like my contact and returns forms do when on input or mouse hover over.

    I have copied and pasted to my order form the same css coding to perform this action from my contact form ( the color change on this form works) and checked for any silly errors such as missing : or ; and . but can't find anything untoward.

    Everything I have tried to resolve this issue with doesn't work, all I can think of is there is a conflict with some of the injected css I have used on the order form, but I don't know where or how to fix.

    Thanks for your help.

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I have inspected CSS code you added inside of you form for changing border color of input field and you code is good. All you need to do is to add !important rule at the end of your code.

    input:hover, textarea:hover,

    input:focus, textarea:focus {

        border-color : #2c2c2c!important;

    }

    Also I saw that one other line of code is not correct.

    #input_128 {color:black,

    font-size:12px;}

    You need to replace a comma (,) with a semicolon (;).

    #input_128 {color:black;

    font-size:12px;}

    Here is my cloned form When I change mentioned codes: https://form.jotform.com/60206188891965

    Feel free to clone it.

    Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
