Stripe ACH

    Hello,

Stripe now accepts ACH (e-checks).  I can see that the payment widget has a way to collect credit card information, but does it include an option to collect checking account routing and checking account numbers?

I would like to simply collect the numbers only at first, and push the transaction through at a later time, and I can see that there is a set-up option in Stripe to enable that (Later: Enter Manually), but I just wanted to make sure I would be able to do it for both Credit Cards and Checking Accounts.

    Thanks!

You can charge later, however, it's only for Credit Cards since it does not have an option to collect checking account and routing number.

Let us know if you have more questions, we will be glad to assist you.

Thanks.  Are there any plans to add this to the Stripe processor widget?  Is that something Stripe would have to do?

By the way, is it a violation of JotForm terms to capture bank account routing and account numbers on standard form fields?  If so, would it be possible to write those numbers into the Stripe credit card field (manually enter, save for later option) just so that they are being kept some place secure?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately, there are no any plans.  You can use a Purchase Order field, this allows you to take orders in which the payment is done manually and offline, either via direct bank (wire) transfers or mailed checks.

Capturing baking account number and routing numbers in standard form fields is not allowed, your account woull be suspended for phishing activity: http://www.jotform.com/terms/

"Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately."

Does the Purchase Order app allow the user to securely enter their bank account and routing numbers?

No, the purchase order does not ask for the bank details. This is manually done, you need to include the address, so the customer can mail the check.
