Hidden field is shown in preview of our formAsked by tammy1973 on January 25, 2016 at 05:52 AM
page 20 of https://form.jotformeu.com/60043606954353 - the field with the title "letter day minus 28" is supposed to be hidden and shows as hidden on the developer / design page but appears on the preview - how can I change this and what causes this? many thanks, Tamara
I took a look at your forms 20th page Tamara and I do not see any hidden fields on it. I tried looking at page before and after as well, followed by a search on the entire form, but I was not able to find field with following label: "letter day minus 28"
Can you tell us if the field holds some other label at this time?
These are the fields that I saw on page 20:
Sorry, I subsequently changed the name of the field (very sorry, should have thought of that) - it is now called "start date of 28 period" - you can see on the screenshot below that it is a hidden field on the set up and embed page but it still shows on the preview.
I also noticed that all my other hidden fields now show up on preview which they haven't done previously - I have hidden fields on page 19, the fields that are hidden are "date of closing balance txt", start date of 28 day period and start date 28 day period txt. I'd be really grateful if you could let me know what can be done. thank you
I've worked it out myself - I think it clashed with a condition which had as action to hide/show fields, this condition now no longer exists and now the fields appear hidden on the preview. Not sure why and how but it works nevertheless, so thanks for your help.
