    Can I make only some of the column or row text bold in a matrix?

    Asked by iantcanada on January 25, 2016 at 07:04 PM

    When I have enough people choosing a time slot on the availability matrix a would like this to be in ordinary type and the available slots to be in bold type.

    I presume you are manually counting the number of users that selected a specific time slot on the matrix field and you want to change the design of the column headers?

    I'm not sure what you meant by "ordinary type"? But you can change the column header's font style or weight by using this CSS code:

    #cid_321 > table > tbody > tr:nth-child(1) > th:nth-child(3) {

        font-weight: 900 !important;

    You can specify which column you want by changing the nth-child() value. In my case, I specify column 3. Here's how it looks like: https://form.jotform.com/60251314807953

    If you want to limit the availability of your options, I strongly suggest using any of the following widgets:

    Those widget will allow you to automatically set a specific quantity on those options. Let us know if that works.
