    If you don't want users to input an area code, you can remove the Phone Number Field and use a regular Text Field as the Phone Number field.

    On the Form Tools, click on the Text Box to add the Text Box field to your form

    Then click on the the gear icon as seen below and select Edit Properties.

    Then add an input mask to limit the input to 7 digits. You can also add a sub-label of Phone Number below.
