Could you please provide us your HTML Table listing report that has problems on the sorting of the submission date field? And/or the form that is associated with it? I see you have a lot of forms being updated in your account.
Here's mine: https://www.jotform.com/table/60275494530052. So far, the submission date is properly sorting. We'll wait for your response.

Many thanks for your fast response. Of course, the listing report is http://www.windhund.at/wurfmeldungs%C3%BCbersicht/wurfmeldungen2015.html (at the very bottom of the page!).
The form is https://form.jotformeu.com/60272564279360.
Hope that helps.

I am not sure if I understood your issue correctly.
I have inspected your report and it looks like this.
Format of the date is dd.mm.yyyy, because that is the format of your DateTime field.
If you want that format of your date is dd-mm-yyyy, then inside of Form Builder select you DateTime field and set Separator to -.
Here is my report with both options: https://www.jotform.com/table/60276238851055
Let us know if you need further assistance.

not the separator is the problem. It's working properly. If you look at the html listing you can see in the second column "Wurfdatum". This column isn't sortable, but this is one of the most important columns of the table for my users.
Every other columns are sortable but this is the only one which isn't.

I was able to replicate the problem. It seems like this happens when you are using the ddmmyyyy format.
Here are the sample HTML table listing reports:
Noticed that in the year 2015, the months are alternating in this case, January and February months are alternating. It seems like it sorts the days without considering the month.
Noticed here in the year 2016, the months are also alternating, and it sorts by days.
I have forwarded this to our developers to have it checked and fixed. Apologies for the inconvenience.

no reason for excuses. Jotform is my one and only form generator for all my websites. I'm very satisfied with Jotform and with your support.
Many thanks for your help.
Have a great weekend!

The problem with the date sorter is now fixed. It seems that dot (.) separator was not handled correctly.
Thank you very much for letting us know
