Hidden fields in the form are shown when editing the submission using the Edit Link

I've put an EditLink into my forms confirmation of submission email.

It works OK, in that when I click on the link in an email, it brings back the form with supplied information filled in.

I have a couple of problems with it

    1. I have hidden fields in my form. When using the link, the hidden fields are shown. How do I keep them hidden?

    2. I only receive the original confirmation email. If I use the link to go back to the form, and change details, the changes take effect OK, but a new confirmation email is not sent.

Is there any way my users can delete their submissions - ie use the link to go back to the form, and click on some sort of DELETE function which would totally remove the original submission.

Thanks, Dain Stone / Mt Coolum Vets.

Later. I've sorted out question 2 - using notifications rather than auto responder.

That's great to know. For the first question, the hidden fields are supposed to be an admin field. They will be visible only when you edit it through the form submissions page. I tried it here and they are not shown:

Please check again. It should be hidden.

For the third question, I moved it to a new thread. Please check it here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/761077

OK, thanks, I've worked it out. If I'm logged into Jotform when I click on the Edit_Link in the email, I see all the hidden fields (because I am the form administrator).

If I'm not logged into JotForm,  I don't see the hidden fields.

    So it's all good.

    Thanks, Dain

On behalf of my colleague, you are kindly welcome.

If I'm not logged into JotForm, I don't see the hidden fields.

Yes, that is correct. User cannot see the hidden fields on their notifications.
