    I can replicate the issue when the amount in the donation is over 1000:

    It resulted in Error 81503: Amount is an invalid format:

    However, payments are successful and everything works correctly when the amount is 999 or less.

    The amount also accepts decimal points on my end, for example I've used both 99.5 and 100.5 without any issues:

    This issue with donation amounts of over 1000 resulting in the error is forwarded to our developers as a bug report. Thank you very much for noticing and letting us know.

    We will update you through this thread when this bug is resolved.

    In discussion with Braintree I have discovered the cause of the problem.
    On transactions of a thousand or more The Comma "," is being submitted to braintree example=1,000 This is an incorrect format and should be example=1000

    I am not entering a comma and none show up on my screen so it must be added on submission

    Please correct this ASAP as I have customers waiting to pay me.

    Thank you for the additional information.  Please refrain from posting the same message multiple times.  This ticket has been assigned to a developer and it will be addressed as soon as they can.  We will let you know here as soon as there are any updates.  Posting the same response again will not expedite the process.

    This is what braintree sent me

    >>>>I’m following up regarding our phone conversation where JotForms is sending a comma in the amount field that causes a Braintree validation error. I’ve included the parameters for the transaction below. This is exactly what was sent to Braintree’s servers that causing the error:

    Parameters: {"transaction"=>{"type"=>"sale", "channel"=>"JotFormInc_BT", "amount"=>"2,000.00", "options"=>{"submit_for_settlement"=>true, "store_in_vault_on_success"=>true}, "payment_method_token"=>"JF_330247922261897360"}, "merchant_id"=>"py62xcmxgj2f5mwm"}

    This transaction returned the Braintree validation error of:

    [VALIDATION ERRORS] 81503 (Amount is an invalid format.)

    I hope the information is helpful! If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
