We (Duquesne University) use JotForm and we were wondering where the data in the forms is stored?

Asked by Kevin Smith  on February 02, 2016 at 09:17 AM

Is the data stored in databases with you, or just stored in the emails that the form(s) generate(s), or locally somewhere?

Also is the data in the forms or past forms able to be queried?  How long is it retained?

    Thanks for the info.!!

All the data is stored in our database, you can access to your data by opening the submissions page of your form.

Your data are retained in your forms until you delete it, if you do not want to store your data in JotForm, you can download it and delete your submissions from our servers.

This guide will help you to download your submissions: http://www.jotform.com/help/73-How-to-Partially-Download-Form-Submissions-as-Excel-CSV-PDF.

    Hope this helps.
