Everytime I test the link or embedded copies of the form I created on my website, it comes up with the following message: Invalid Configuration. This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration.

    What gives?

The problem is related to your PayPal Pro merchant account configuration. You can check the error code information on this page. Here are the error codes in your form:

    10500  - error code
    Invalid Configuration
This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration.
Occurs when you have not agreed to the billing agreement.

    10501  - error code
    Invalid Configuration
This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration.
Occurs when the billing agreement is disabled or inactive.

Please make sure that Paypal PRO is enabled in your Paypal account and/or make sure that you are ready to accept Paypal Pro payments. You can contact Paypal for this matter if you can't resolve it your own.

I wish I were a card carrying geek then everything on that PayPal site would make sense. I tried the Payment Pro setup and have no idea what the hell it all entails. I hate to do it, but I'm gonna have to go with those ugly PayPal buttons on my site for right now, then find a way to link my Squareup store to my site and use that.

    Thanks for the help, though.

As my colleague was mentioned above, this error occurs when the billing agreement is disabled or inactive.

You can find the solution at the following link:

If the problem still persists, please let us know. We will be glad to assist you.

Actually, the issue is with PayPal. I contacted them and they said they were still working on correcting the issue with using Sandbox and all that jazz. Great. Well, I'll be using Squareup instead, which is more reliable and not as unpredictable as PayPal. Although they don't have button capabilities, I prefer them over PP.

    Thanks.
