    Hi there,

Can you take a look at this form - https://www.jotform.com//?formID=50493869347166

I can't seem to get one field to populate, "Cost to Print $" .  It is set up very similarly to the fields "Cost to Mail $" and "Cost to Ship $" but is not working.

Can you please see what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks,

    Laura

I would suggest you to use this app: http://prepopulate.jotform.io/.

You will get the exact field to be populated, and you should not have any issue.

Do let us know if it helps.

Thanks for getting back to me but you obviously did not look at my form at all.

My issue has nothing to do with pre populating with contact info.

I am trying to get a value to appear in a field from a previous field and it is not populating.

Maybe if you look at the actual form you can give a me a more accurate solution.

    Thanks

I may have figured it out anyway.

Please accept my apologies, I misunderstood the issue.

Now I have checked your form and I can see that the field is being filled properly, it takes the value from the "Printing Subtotal $" field, I have also checked it and you are using the Form Calculation widget.

Also I noticed that you have this on your widget:

Cant get a field to populate Image 2 Screenshot 41

It will work only with the field, without the "0+", if the value filled is not the correct, perhaps the issue is with the "Printing Subtotal $" field. Could you please confirm if the issue is still there?

Seems like you were able to fix it, when I checked your form the first time I noticed that was filling the field.

If it's not calculation properly the value, please share us the formula that calculates the value, we will be glad to take a look on it.
